Chief Technology Officer (w/m/d)
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the development and implementation of the company’s technology strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, SaaS solutions, and leadership, and will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and execution of the technology strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the technology strategy, ensuring that it aligns with the company’s overall goals and objectives
- Manage the software development team, providing leadership and direction to ensure high-quality, innovative solutions are delivered
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert in technology
- Oversee the development of software systems, ensuring they are cost-effective, scalable, and maintainable
- Stay up-to-date with technological trends and advancements, and assess their impact on the company’s technology strategy
- Collaborate with other departments, including product management, IT operations, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of technology solutions
- Present technology strategies and plans to C-level executives and board members, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
What you bring along
- A Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in a technology-related role, including software development and SaaS solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to build and motivate teams
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to create overall strategy plans and facilitate the creation of step-by-step plans
- Good understanding of public cloud technologies and legacy modernization, as well as data-driven software development and AI
- Strong commercial mindset and ability to anticipate and solve business challenges
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and coordinate with various departments
- Self-starter attitude with a passion for technology and innovation
- Able to build trust with internal and external stakeholders
- Customer-focused, with a good understanding of business domain and technology challenges
