Dev Ops System Engineer (f/m/d) – hybrid /Germany

In the role of System Engineer (m/f/d), you will play a key role in supporting the IT infrastructure.
This role is a hybrid role and we have office locations in Cologne and Berlin.


  • Deploy and maintain critical applications on the microservices architecture
  • Designing and implementing secure automation solutions for multiple environments
  • Realise infrastructure projects
  • Continuously evaluate existing systems against industry standards and make suggestions for improvement
  • Manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines to increase efficiency
  • Support and collaborate with a cross-functional engineering team on the latest technologies
  • Jointly develop best practices to increase the quality and speed of deployments
  • Performing error analyses and troubleshooting


In all tasks, you will communicate with other departments and stakeholders, including customers, managers and colleagues.

What you bring along

You will need 3+ years of professional experience as DevOps / System Engineer, especially with:

  • Implementation of CI/CD (e.g. Argo CD, Jenkins)
  • Configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
  • Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. Terraform, Terragrunt, Cloudformation)
  • Monitoring tools (Grafana, Pagerduty, CloudWatch, Datadog, etc.)
  • Maintenance and provision of highly available systems on a large scale
  • Docker containerisation and clustering (Kubernetes/EKS)
  • Version control systems (e.g. Git)
  • Expertise in AWS (e.g. IAM, EC2, VPC, ELB, SES, ALB, Autoscaling, Lambda)
  • English language skills are a must as this position is part of a global engineering team, german is very welcome
