Responsibilities

  • Deploy and maintain critical applications on microservices architecture
  • Design and implement secure automation solutions for multiple environments
  • As part of a team implement DevOps infrastructure projects
  • Continuously evaluate existing systems with industry standards, and make recommendations for improvement
  • Manage Tivian’s continuous integration and delivery pipelines to maximize efficiency
  • Support and work alongside a cross-functional engineering teams on the latest technologies
  • Work with QA team on best practices to increase the quality & velocity of deployments
  • Share on call responsibilities

What you bring along

  • 3+ years of professional experience as a DevOps / System Engineer
  • Understanding of monitoring tools (Grafana, Pagerduty, CloudWatch, Datadog, etc)
  • Experience maintaining and deploying high-availability systems at scale
  • Experience with Docker containerization and clustering (Kubernetes/EKS)
  • Expertise with AWS (e.g. IAM, EC2, VPC, ELB, SES, ALB, Autoscaling, Lambda)
  • Working knowledge of Version control system (e.g. Git)
  • Experience implementing CI/CD (e.g. Argo CD, Jenkins)
  • Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Pupet)
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform, Terragrunt, Cloudformation)
  • Effective communication skills (knowledge of English is a must as this position is a part of a global engineering team)

What we offer

Compensation:

The US base salary for this position ranges from $100,000-130,000 per year. Consistent with applicable laws, an employee’s pay within this range is based on a number of factors, which include but are not limited to, relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location. Tivian, Inc. reserves the right to modify this range as needed.
